I’ve had 2 home visits with Leah Jolly. I can easily say she is the reason breastfeeding has been successful for me. She came in a couple days after I got home from the hospital and again 2 weeks later. Leah is incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and also wonderful to be around. She even went out of her way to do a video call with me to help troubleshoot a particularly difficult day with my newborn. I can’t recommend these services enough, amazing experience and invaluable support!

I 1000% recommend the ladies at BABE. After my 5 day pediatrician appointment my baby was losing too much weight and it was recommended to start supplementing with formula. I called BABE in a panic because my appointment wasn't until the next week. They were able to fit me into the schedule for an emergency virtual session and it was a life saver. There was an immediate and dramatic improvement in my baby's eating, reduction in fussiness, and much less stress for this first time mom! By my follow up appointment the next week baby had regained back to birth weight and was able to taper off formula supplement. Both Heather and Leah are incredibly kind and knowledgeable. I had taken a breastfeeding class online and thought I was reasonably prepared, but their experience and ability to troubleshoot all the little things unique to me and my baby was completely invaluable. I had great experience with both my virtual and in-person appointments. The additional resources and support information they sent as follow up was also great- there is so much information online it was really helpful to have a list of good resources. Overall can't recommend them enough- you won't regret it.

I was referred to BABE by a volunteer lactation consultant. She had met Leah Jolly before and told me that she was THE BEST. After meeting Leah for a consultation almost a year ago, I can confirm that. I was breastfeeding my baby (and still am, thanks Leah and the volunteer LC who I still talk to), and having problems with how to handle an oversupply. My baby was getting extremely frustrated for not being able to control the amount of milk he was getting and this was putting us on a constant stress. Many times he was refusing to nurse because of that, which led to a clogged duct at some point. Leah met us, she is so sweet and knowledgeable. She immediately spot the BLEB and taught me how to deal with that fast, so it would not develop to a mastitis. She also helped me to find the best position to feed my baby, so he would be able to control better the flow that he was getting. She also provided me with some websites to read and other written information that I could go back to, as needed. I truly believe that the success of my breastfeeding journey has a lot to do with having met Leah, and I am forever grateful to her and BABE.

Heather was such a pleasure to work with. She immediately had “fixes” and tips for things we had been struggling with and was so thoughtful in every aspect of our appointment. She brought up things I never would have thought of, and when she left I felt so reassured and equipped to continue our breastfeeding journey. I can’t say enough good things!

I don’t think I would be breastfeeding now if it wasn’t for BABE. I had so much trouble breastfeeding when my baby was born and meet with a lactation consultant at the hospital but that did not help. I ended up having to give my baby formula for the first week.

I made an appointment with BABE and meet with them a few times. Heather was wonderful and so helpful. 7 months later I’m still breastfeeding and I can’t thank them enough. Best money I’ve ever spent.

Heather was very friendly and helpful! She is really knowledgeable about breastfeeding and helped me and baby make some adjustments that have been a huge help already. She was extremely comfortable to work with.

Leah is wonderful to work with! As a first time mom she helped me come up with a plan for breastfeeding my pre-term baby, which has taken a huge weight off my shoulders! She was very kind and patient, spending plenty of time with us while we fed and discussed the difficulties my child and I were having. I highly recommend BABE Lactation for any mom who feels like they are struggling or overwhelmed by breastfeeding.

Heather is my lactation angel… now for two babies!! I always recommend her to anyone who is breastfeeding because she truly cares and helps so much!

BABE—Lactation consultants are AWESOME!!!! I especially LOVE Leah Jolly!! I am a mother of 4 children and a general pediatrician. I have successfully breastfed my 3 boys prior to having my daughter in NOV 2020. When I starting having breastfeeding issues with my daughter, despite my prior breastfeeding experience, Leah was right there beside me coaching me and guiding me through the process all the way. My daughter had to have a tongue tie and lip tie release and Leah helped me with finger placement with the exercises and this allowed me to perform them efficiently and effectively. She provided guidance for me when the specialist did not. If I had a question in the middle of the night, I was able to contact her through the secure messaging app and she returned my message quickly!

With Leah’s help, my daughter became a PRO at breastfeeding within 3 weeks—1 week after her procedure 😉

Since returning to work, I have referred several patients to BABE and they are pleased!!

Before I even became pregnant I had my heart set on breastfeeding future children. My initial experience with breastfeeding my son did not get off to a smoothie start at all. I am so grateful to Leah! She helped me through breastfeeding my tongue tied baby and inspired me to keep going when I was so close to giving up! I stopped supplementing with formula at 2 months and we are still BF at 17 months 💙 It’s so important to get help early on with your breastfeeding concerns. You don’t have to tough it out on your own and I’m so glad I got the support I needed at BABE

BABE is amazing! Do not hesitate to call them if you are struggling with breastfeeding. The original lactation consultant (Leah) I wanted to meet with didn't have any availability until the following week but she worked with me to get someone to be ASAP so that we could get off to a great start since I was dealing with latching pain and engorgement. Heather was fantastic to work with - super friendly, personable and full of knowledge. One session with her and our breastfeeding journey was completely changed, our feeds are more efficient and less painful. She gave me the knowledge to be able to adjust the latch and most importantly, I now know what to look for to make sure my baby is getting fed. BABE is the best!

I took Leah Jolly's Breastfeeding class for First Responders and it was truly amazing. It really opened my eyes to a lot of things I had not known as a pregnancy chiropractor and mother who breastfed her two babies. Leah is so knowledgeable! She presented the information in a very easy-to-understand format, provided great notes and slides, but gave a lot of content that I am still digesting. I cannot recommend them more. Leah was absolutely wonderful about providing feedback on latching. She was thorough and made sure to answer any question I had while also giving plenty of suggestions on stretches and post frenectomy care. She put my nerves to rest.

Leah with Bay Area Breastfeeding is amazing!! I was a bit worried we wouldn’t get the full benefit from virtual appointments during the Covid-19 pandemic, but we did and more! Leah, was VERY knowledgeable, and was able to clearly explain solutions to our issues with a bad latch and tongue tie issues. She took the time and patience to listen and help me feel confident in my breastfeeding abilities when I came to her feeling really hopeless, and in pain from cracked and bleeding nipples. She was caring, compassionate, and it was like she was in the room with me even though she was on video chat. I am so thankful to Leah for her expertise!

Leah worked with me and my little one during our visit at the dentist to release my daughter’s tongue tie, as well as a week after for our follow up. She is absolutely amazing at what she does- so knowledgeable, a baby whisperer, as well as incredibly kind and personable. I felt so much more at ease and confident that me and my baby girl were on the right breastfeeding path after our visit.

Leah was super helpful with instructing me on techniques for breastfeeding to help with some of the issues we had been having. She also was very helpful when it came to going over the tongue exercises we needed to do following her tongue tie release, and even did tummy time with my daughter.

I highly recommend Leah & BABE! She went above and beyond to help me and my daughter during our visit- can’t praise her enough!

Leah came to help me at a time when I was feeling pretty desperate. I have to return to work in a week and our little has been refusing the bottle. She was sooo personable, patient, and attentive to my daughter's needs. I didn't feel rushed or that any question was silly or off limits. She is clearly very knowledgeable about all things lactation, but also tongue/lip/buccal ties and torticollis/plagiocephaly. My mom was in attendance for moral support and was equally impressed. Will definitely have her back over to meet and provide guidance to my husband. I feel more positive and encouraged thanks to BABE.
